This project was photographed in Bulgaria in 2009. I was awarded the Meyer's Traveling Fellowship from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in order to complete it. Vacation Industry was exhibited at the Main gallery in MICA, Baltimore, MD
My photo series juxtaposes idealized natural beauty with the tourist developments that mushroomed prior to the recession of 2008.
